We are carefully monitoring the situation and any news from the lenders. Nationwide, Lloyds and Natwest announced that they will not be registering payments holidays as ‘’missed’’ payment on your credit history. Most of the banks will have a process in place to establish the root cause of difficulties and some (like Barclays) will possibly offer switch to interest only payments for the duration of the holidays.
Please remember that this will not be a blanket approach and each case will be assessed on its own merits.
